It’s easy to come to work when you are surrounded by a productive, satisfied group of coworkers. There are a lot of reasons that the employees at Erie International Group (EIG) look forward to coming in to work each day. Here are some great benefits you can expect when you explore employment with us:
Family-Friendly Scheduling
At EIG, we understand that time off to spend with family, or to take time for yourself, is extremely important in today’s world. That is why we offer the opportunity for a unique 4 on / 4 off schedule that gives employees more days off in a row. Imagine what you could do with 4 days off in a row every other week. DIY projects, family outings, mini getaways or whatever else you need to unwind and relax when you are away from work. Even better, if you take a 4-day vacation, that means you end up with 12 days off!
Excellent Training
The training you will receive at EIG is some of the best in the industry. We typically do not expect our new hires to have previous experience in the position they are hired for. Instead, we look for ambitious, hard-working individuals that are excited about learning new skills and growing their career. Our training is on-the-job so you get the right experience as you work, with experienced trainers at your side until you are comfortable to go it alone.
A Great Management Team
The EIG managers are there to provide support to the team, but not to micromanage – and our employees really appreciate them for it. Additionally, our management team works side by side with all levels of employees to contribute to the success of the company on a daily basis. While working hard to ensure all safety standards are met, they also strive to be a great source of knowledge that team members can access at any time.
Opportunity for Advancement
Working at a company for years, giving it your all, only to be stuck in the same role at the same pay is not very motivating. And it certainly does not encourage employees to do their best work. On the other hand, the employees at EIG are valued and we reward those who work hard. We notice when an employee has a good work ethic and shows promise for advancement. Once an employee has proven themselves as a competent, reliable team member, we always look for ways to promote them to a higher position.
